Wednesdays: 11am – 1pm
Highlands Ranch String is hosting the sweater club you have been asking for. We have a fabulous
selection of patterns and yarn from which to choose. It is a great group of women with varying skills
and projects. Kate Ruys leads the group and provides her expert instruction and support.

Thursdays: Noon – 2pm
As the sign says, we are a “Crochet Friendly” yarn boutique. We have a section of magazines and
pattern books devoted to the art of Crochet. Francene is a valuable member of our sales staff here
at Highlands Ranch String, so as well as offering crochet assistance and ideas, on Thursday mornings,
Francene is available, (time permitting), at other times during the week. (We also have knit and
crochet help on Fridays per schedule).

“Gifts of Love” Charity-Knitting Group
Beginning Friday, January 8, 2010

Everyone is welcome to join us in knitting or crocheting your “Gifts of Love.”
Just one of our charitable causes, Highlands Ranch String hosts “Gifts of Love,” a charity-knitting
group for the cause of your choice. Some of our focus is currently on Helmet Liners for the Troops;
Children’s Hospital; chemo caps for adults and children who are undergoing cancer treatment; lap
afghans for the elderly; and caps, scarves, and gloves for the homeless.
We have some free patterns at the store for your use. Most of the time recipients are thrilled to
receive whatever gift is given. However, there are some items which need to be made to specific
needs and yarn content.
You need not attend to participate. If you wish to simply deliver your gifts to Highlands Ranch
String, we will delight in conveying them to the appropriate recipients.
